Getting Started
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Free tier requires no payment. You can use Catalayer indefinitely without a credit card.
What is included in the 7-day trial?
Every new account gets a 7-day trial with all products unlocked. After 7 days, you can upgrade to Plus or Pro, or auto-downgrade to Free.
How long does setup take?
Signup to first productive use: 5-15 minutes depending on which products you want to configure.

What is Catalayer AI?
Catalayer AI is the self-learning analysis engine that powers relevance scoring, news summaries, predictions, and workflow automation across every Catalayer product. Not sold separately.
Do I need all six products?
No. Most users focus on 1-2 products. Upgrade from Free to Plus or Pro based on usage.
What regions does news coverage include?
13 language regions: English, German, Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified + Traditional), Japanese, Korean.
Pricing
What are the subscription tiers?
Free ($0), Plus ($29/mo), Pro ($99/mo). One account, multiple products.
Is there annual pricing?
Not currently. Monthly-only. Annual plans planned for Q2 2026.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellation takes effect at end of current billing cycle. Data preserved 30 days for reactivation.
Technical
What browsers are supported?
Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Brave. Source Finder Chrome extension requires Chromium-based browsers.
Is there a mobile app?
Responsive web works on mobile. Native iOS/Android apps planned.
Is there an API?
Not publicly available yet. Selected power users have limited API access. Full public API in development.
How do I contact support?
Email [email protected]. Typical response: 24 hours weekdays, longer on weekends.
Security & Privacy
Where is my data stored?
Primary storage US-based. EU-hosted option available on request for EU residents.
Is my Amazon Seller Central connection read-only?
Yes. Claim Pilot uses read-only OAuth. We cannot modify listings, change prices, or take actions without your explicit review.
Who owns my data?
You do. Export anytime via Account > Data Export. Full deletion on account cancellation after 30-day grace period.

Does Catalayer replace Bloomberg Terminal?
For specific retail/small-team use cases, yes. For institutional desks with compliance, FX, or derivatives focus, no.
Does Catalayer replace GETIDA for FBA reimbursements?
Yes. Same automated audit, but you keep 100% of recovered funds (vs GETIDA's 25% take).
How is Catalayer different from Helium 10 or Jungle Scout?
Complementary, not competitive. Those tools focus on Amazon product research + PPC. Catalayer focuses on sourcing + reimbursement + news.

For technical traders who don't need deep news analysis, yes. For news-driven strategies, TradingView's news is thin.

Koyfin focuses on charting and financial statements — best prosumer Bloomberg alternative for fundamental analysis. Catalayer focuses on real-time news monitoring and AI event classification. They are complementary.
[GETIDA] Does GETIDA find MORE than Claim Pilot?
Similar ground covered. Both use Seller Central API automation. Edge cases differ.
[GETIDA] Is Amazon okay with third-party claim submission via GETIDA?
Yes, it's allowed. But your account relationship matters — if there is any dispute about claim volume, you're the one Amazon talks to.
[Helium 10] Can Catalayer replace Helium 10?
No. Helium 10's keyword/PPC tools are not replicated in Catalayer.
[Helium 10] Which comes first for a new FBA seller?
Helium 10 first for product research and PPC. Catalayer once you start sourcing or scaling inventory audit.
[Traditional Chinese Sourcing Agent] Can I replace a sourcing agent entirely with Source Finder?
For standard products and experienced sourcers, often yes. For complex custom products or high-stakes first orders, an agent adds value Source Finder cannot.
[Traditional Chinese Sourcing Agent] Does Catalayer Sourcing Agent (the product) replace human agents?
In early access. Currently automates sourcing brief → supplier shortlist → RFQ drafting. Negotiation + on-site work still requires humans for now.
[Refinitiv Eikon] Is Refinitiv Eikon better than Bloomberg?
Domain-specific. Eikon better for FX; Bloomberg better for US equities. Refinitiv owned by LSEG now. Price parity.

No. Those are keyword + PPC tools. Catalayer handles sourcing, claims, and news. Complement each other.
[Catalayer for Day Traders] Is Catalayer as fast as Bloomberg Terminal?
Bloomberg is sub-30s on wire news. Catalayer is 30-180s depending on source. Close enough for most retail/swing trading. Not for HFT.
[Catalayer for Freelance Consultants] Does Catalayer scrape Upwork?
Upwork's terms prohibit most scraping; Catalayer integrates via their permitted API + RSS where available. Monitoring is not scraping.
[Catalayer for Sourcing Agents] Is Catalayer useful for non-China sourcing agents?
Yes. Source Finder covers 1688/Alibaba but Monitor + Freelancer Monitor work for any region. Some reduced value for India/Vietnam sourcing.
[Catalayer for E-commerce Operators] Does Catalayer integrate with my 3PL (ShipBob, ShipMonk)?
Not directly yet. API access for integrations planned for 2026.
